ከአዲስ አበባ ጎልፍ ማህበር ጋር በመተባባር የተዘጋጀው የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ የ2014 ዓ.ም የጎልፍ ጨዋታ ውድድር በይፋ ተጀምሯል። ውድድሩን የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ የቅርንጫፎች እና ዲጂታል ባንኪንግ ኤክስኪውቲቭ ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት አቶ ፍቅረስላሴ ዘውዱ ዛሬ በይፋ አስጀምረዋል፡፡


አቶ ፍቅረስላሴ ውድድሩን ባስጀመሩበት ወቅት እንደተናገሩት፣ ባንኩ በሀገራችን የስፖርቱን ዘርፍ ለማሳደግ ከፍተኛ ድጋፍ እያደረገ እንደሚገኝ ገልጸው፣ በባንኩ የስፖርት ማህበር በዓለም አቀፍ ውድድሮች የሀገራችንን ስም ያስጠሩ በርካታ ስፖርተኞችን ማፍራት መቻሉን አስረድተዋል፡፡


የጎልፍ ጨዋታ በአገራችን ብዙ ባይዘወተርም ከጤና ረገድ አስፈላጊ መሆኑን የገለጹት አቶ ፍቅረስላሴ፣ ስፖርቱን ለማሳደግ የሚደረገውን ጥረት ለማገዝ በማሰብ የጎልፍ ጨዋታ ውድድሩን ዘንድሮ ለሁልተኛ ጊዜ ባንኩ ስፖንሰር ማደረጉን ገልጸዋል፡፡


ባንኩ ውድድሩን ማዘጋጀቱ ስፖርቱን ከሚያዘወትሩ የባንኩ ታላላቅ ደንበኞች ጋር ያለውን ግንኙነት እንደሚያጠናክረው የገለጹት አቶ ፍቅረስላሴ፣ በተለይ ከውጭ የመጡ ኢንቨስተሮችና ዲፕሎማቶች ስፖርቱን በብዛት የሚያዘወትሩ ከመሆኑ አንፃር ከነዚህ አካላት ጋር የሥራ ግንኙት ለመፍጠር በተለይም የዲጂታል ባንክ አገልግሎቶቹን ለማስተዋወቅና ተደራሽ ለማድረግ የሚያስችለው መሆኑን አስረድተዋል፡፡


በመክፈቻው መርሃ-ግብር ላይ ንግግር ያደረጉት የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ የደንበኞች ኤክስፔሪያንስ ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት አቶ ወጋየሁ ገብረማሪያም እንዳሉት ባንኩ የአገሪቱን የልማት እንቅስቃሴዎች የሚደግፉ ስራዎችን ከመስራት ባሻገር ማህበራዊ ኃላፊነቱን ለመወጣት ከሚያደርጋቸው ተግባራት መካከል የህብረተሰቡን ጤና ከማስጠበቅ አንፃር ከፍተኛ ጠቀሜታ ያላቸውን ስፖርታዊ ውድድሮች መደገፍ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡
